Yara Introduces Agoro Carbon Alliance, Schedules Event For Farmers, Industry Partners

Yara announces the official launch of its new global business to address carbon sequestration and markets, the Agoro Carbon Alliance. The Alliance is designed to “decarbonize the farm and food value chain and enable farmers to earn additional revenue through positive climate action,” according to a company press release.

Yara is rolling out the details of its Agoro Carbon program during a virtual event at 9 a.m. Central on June 8. Farmers can learn more and register at agorocarbonalliance.com.

Event speakers will include farmers, commodity groups, technology partners, and climate-smart agricultural experts, as well as Yara and Agoro Carbon Alliance leadership.

Yara headquarters are in Oslo, Norway. The company has fertilizer operations across four continents with teams in Europe, Brazil, India and the United States.
