With A Littleplant Growth Regulator, The Utilization Rate Of Urea Can Reach 70%

Urea is the nitrogen fertilizer with the highest nitrogen content at present, the nitrogen content is more than 46.3%, and its water solubility is particularly good. It can quickly supplement the nitrogen needed by crop growth. In addition, urea is a physiological neutral fertilizer, which has little damage to soil and is cheap, so it is welcomed by farmers. However, the utilization rate of urea is only 30-35%, and a lot of nitrogen fertilizer is wasted.

In order to improve the utilization rate of urea, researchers have explored from many aspects and achieved remarkable results. The results showed that adding plant growth regulator to urea can increase the utilization rate of urea from 30% to 70%, and prolong the utilization rate of urea up to 100 days. This plant growth regulator is fulvic acid.

What is fulvic acid

Fulvic acid is a brownish red substance extracted from humic acid. It is also an organic matter with the smallest molecular weight and the best water solubility in humic acid. Because fulvic acid contains a variety of carboxyl, phenolic hydroxyl and other functional groups, it has strong complexation, chelation and surface adsorption capacity. It can combine with calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, molybdenum and other ions in soil to form chelated calcium, magnesium and iron, which can be directly absorbed by crop roots, and significantly improve the utilization rate of these metal ions.

Fulvic acid is also a plant growth regulator, which can promote plant growth, play an important role in drought resistance, improve plant stress resistance, increase yield and improve quality.

Effect of adding fulvic acid to urea

(1) Improve the utilization rate: because fulvic acid contains a variety of carboxyl, phenolic hydroxyl and other functional groups, it has strong complexation, chelation and surface adsorption capacity. When used with urea, fulvic acid can directly combine with urea molecules to form complex or chelated urea, which can be directly absorbed by root system, prevent urea decomposition and loss, and significantly improve the utilization rate of urea.

(2) Increase the duration of the effect: urea can not be directly absorbed by crop roots, in the soil must be transformed into ammonium nitrogen or nitrate nitrogen under the action of urease in order to be absorbed by crop roots. Fulvic acid inhibited urease and nitrogenase. The results showed that the inhibitory effect of fulvic acid on urease could last about 100 days, and the inhibition rate of nitrogenase by fulvic acid could reach 69%. Therefore, adding a certain amount of fulvic acid to urea could delay the decomposition of urea and increase the utilization rate of urea by more than 40%. The effective period could reach 62 days and the longest could reach 100 days.

(3) Regulation of plant growth: fulvic acid is a plant growth regulator, which can promote root growth, improve the ability of crops to absorb water and fertilizer, make the plant more robust, and significantly improve the cold resistance, drought resistance and disease resistance of plants.

(4) Yield and quality improvement: because fulvic acid can significantly improve the ability of root system to absorb nutrients, plants synthesize more nutrients such as protein, sugar, amino acid, etc., accelerate the nutrient transport into the fruit, and significantly improve the yield and quality. According to the experiment on wheat, under the condition of reducing the amount of urea by 20%, the yield of wheat can be increased by more than 10%.

Usage method

(1) Topdressing application: in wheat, corn, cucumber, pepper, tomato, apple, pear, grape, peach and other crops, 15-20kg urea + 50g potassium fulvic acid can be used each time per mu. After mixing evenly, topdressing can improve the utilization rate of urea by 40% and increase the yield by 10-25%.

(2) spraying leaves: wheat, rice and other crops can be used at the heading and flowering stage, with 100~200 grams of urea, 15~20 grams of potassium fulvate, and 30 kg of water added to the spray per mu, which can increase the photosynthesis of the leaves, increase the seed setting rate, and make the grain more Fuller, and the yield can reach more than 10%.

(3) Spraying on apple, pear, peach, grape and other fruit trees can promote fruit expansion, increase yield and quality by spraying 300-500 times of urea + 2000-3000 times of potassium fulvic acid solution on the positive and negative sides of leaf surface.
