Vietnam's Rice Production in 2022/23 Is Expected To Be 28.9 Million Tons

The latest report from the International Grains Council shows that Vietnam's rice production in 2022/23 (January to December) is expected to be 28.9 million tons, in line with earlier forecasts and slightly higher than the previous year's 28.5 million tons.

Rice beginning stocks were unchanged at 3.1 million tons. Rice exports are forecast at 6.5 million tons, in line with last month's forecast and 6.5 million tons in the previous year. Rice ending stocks are forecast at 3 million tons, in line with last month's forecast and at 3.1 million tons last year.
