Vietnam's Exports Of Agricultural, Forestry And Fishery Products Exceeded $23 Billion in The First Five Months

Vietnam's Industry and Trade newspaper reported on June 1 that according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, exports of agricultural, forestry and fishery products exceeded US$5.1 billion in May, up 18.1 percent year-on-year and 3.8 percent from a year earlier. In the first five months, the export value of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products reached $23.2 billion, up 16.8% year-on-year.

Specifically, in the first five months, the main agricultural exports of $ 9.4 billion, up 10.4%; the main forest products exports of $ 7.7 billion, up 7.6%; aquatic products exports of $ 4.8 billion, up 46.3%. A total of eight products exports of more than $ 1 billion, respectively, coffee, rubber, rice, cashews, fruits and vegetables, balsa fish, shrimp, wood products. In terms of export markets, the U.S. market is still Vietnam's largest export market, exports of nearly 6.5 billion U.S. dollars; in second place is the Chinese market, exports of more than 4.1 billion U.S. dollars; in third place is the Japanese market, exports of more than 1.6 billion U.S. dollars; in fourth place is the South Korean market, exports of more than 1.1 billion U.S. dollars.
