Vietnam To Export More Than 100,000 Tons Of Cashew Nuts in 2021

Vietnam's "Customs Online" reported on February 8, according to the latest data from the General Administration of Vietnam Customs, in addition to the normal export of cashew nuts, enterprises will re-export 106,392 tons of cashew nuts in 2021.

 

Specifically, in the fourth quarter of 2021, the company re-exported 22,124 tons of cashew nuts, with an export value of nearly US$143 million.

 

In 2021, the company re-exported 106,392 tons of cashew nuts, with a total export value of 645.7 million US dollars.

 

In normal export activities, in 2021, Vietnam will export 579,773 tons of cashew nuts, a year-on-year increase of 12.6%; the export value is nearly 3.64 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 13.3%.

 

Important export markets for Vietnamese cashew nuts are the United States, the European Union, and China. Among them, Vietnam exported 176,363 tons to the United States, with an export value of 1.052 billion US dollars; exported 85,162 tons to China, with an export value of 614.29 million US dollars; the Netherlands exported 68,903 tons, with an export value of 373.65 million US dollars; exported 212.01 million tons to Germany, with an export value of 134.68 million US dollars, etc. .

 

On the other hand, last year Vietnam imported more than 2.87 million tons of cashew nuts, a year-on-year increase of 98.3%; the total import value was nearly 4.2 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 131.5%.
