The source of the main raw material of seaweed fertilizer (seaweed)

At present, the seaweed in the seaweed fertilizers of most manufacturers is actually kelp; the real high-quality seaweed fertilizers are obtained from wild giant algae in the deep sea without pollution. The main difference between the two is that the giant algae living in the deep sea have much higher content of endogenous active substances accumulated in their bodies than kelp due to their harsh growth environment, and the content of harmful heavy metals is as low as the limit.

Several types of high-quality seaweed for the production of seaweed fertilizer:

       1. Giant spirulina (Ecklonia maxima): It is prolific in the icy seawater of the west coast of South Africa. It is rich in natural auxin and cytokinin. It can grow to a height of 3 meters in two years. It is known as a marine forest. The environment is harsh, and it can maintain high-speed growth in extremely cold seawater, which shows that the growth-promoting substances contained in it are very active. It is a good raw material for producing high-quality seaweed fertilizer.

       2. Ascophyllum nodosum: It is mostly produced on the coast of Norway and Iceland in the North Atlantic. It grows in a low temperature environment and is rich in protein and natural high-quality nutrients. It is a high-quality raw material for preparing feed and fertilizer.

       3. Laminaria japonica Aresch: mainly distributed in the Kuril Islands, Sakhalin Island and Hokkaido in Japan, the Pacific Ocean and North Atlantic coast of the Americas, and the coasts of China's Liaodong Peninsula and Shandong Peninsula, with large output and fast growth, generally used by domestic enterprises. It is used in the extraction of seaweed for food or fertilizer processing.
