Potassium Sulfate, Potassium Chloride, Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate! What's The Difference?

What is the use of potash

For agricultural production, the role of potassium is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

One is to improve stress resistance. Potassium participates in a number of physiological activities during plant growth, can promote the metabolism of carbohydrates and nitrogen, control and regulate the activity of various mineral nutrients, activate the activities of various enzymes, control the transportation of nutrients and water, and maintain cell Internal pressure, thereby preventing plants from withering.

The second is to improve quality. Since the application of potassium fertilizer can improve the stress resistance of crops, it plays a very important role in ensuring high and stable crop yields. For corn, for example, the application of potassium fertilizer can improve the quality of corn stalks and prevent lodging.

The third is to increase production. Due to the high potassium content in the original soil in some areas, many farmers have not realized the important effect of potassium on yield.

Do you want to use potash fertilizer

The application of potassium fertilizer has not attracted everyone's attention, and it has a great relationship with the content of potassium fertilizer in the soil. China's soil potassium supply capacity varies greatly in different regions, generally low in the south and high in the north, and low in the east and high in the west. However, since everyone has not paid attention to the application of potassium fertilizer for a long time, the soil potassium content in many areas is decreasing. So, should we use potash fertilizer?

Take a look at the soil. As mentioned above, the potassium content in our soil is slowly decreasing. In addition, proper amount of potassium fertilizer should be applied to the northern soil.

Second, look at the crop. As potassium plays an important role in increasing the protein and carbohydrate content of crops, it is recommended to use potassium fertilizer for general economic crops, especially legume crops, potato crops, cotton, hemp, tobacco and fruit trees.

Third, look at the input of external nutrients. In recent years, it has been advocated to return straw to the field. This is because the potassium content in straw is relatively high, and it is easy to release, which can supply a large amount of potassium to the soil.

What are the types of potash fertilizer and how can I choose?

Potassium sulfate is more expensive than potassium chloride because it is not easy to agglomerate, has better physical properties, is comparatively applied, and has higher production costs. Therefore, potassium sulfate is generally applied to crops with higher economic value.

However, potassium chloride, because it contains chlorine, should be used to avoid chlorine-free crops. Such as beets, sugar cane, potatoes, grapes, watermelons, tea trees, tobacco, citrus and other chlorine-free crops, it is generally not suitable to use potassium chloride.

Potassium dihydrogen phosphate contains both phosphorus and potassium, no impurities and residues, and all nutrients can be absorbed by crops. It plays an important role in increasing crop production and income, and improving stress resistance.

Four, matters needing attention

1. When using potassium dihydrogen phosphate in high concentration, be sure to avoid high temperature time. Generally, it is not recommended to use it in high concentration in high temperature season.

2. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be sprayed before 10 am and after 4 pm.

3. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be mixed with acidic and neutral pesticides to increase the efficacy, and cannot be mixed with alkaline substances.

4. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is a fully water-soluble fertilizer that dissolves quickly. Please store it in a cool and dry place. Please seal the bag after opening.
