In 2021, The Amount Of Russian Agricultural Products Imported From China Will Increase By 3.6%

Russian Satellite News Agency, Moscow, April 15. The Agricultural Products Export Center of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture told the Satellite News Agency that in 2021, Russia will import 1.443 billion US dollars of agricultural products from China, an increase of 3.6% compared with 2020.

 

Russia's agricultural imports from China in 2021 mainly include fresh bulb vegetables (5%), non-edible extracts, natural resins (4.5%), fish products and canned food (4.2%), frozen fish (4.2%) and fish Flakes and other fish meat (4.0%).

 

According to the Agricultural Products Export Center, the increase in Russia's imports of agricultural products from China is due to the growth of sunflower seeds (1.5 times more than in 2020), fish fillets and other fish meat (+43.5%), clams (+41.7%), sugary canned food (+ 72.2%) import volume growth.

 

In addition, Russia's reduced imports of agricultural products from China are fresh bulb vegetables (-20.1%), fresh peppers (-32.7%), finished vegetables or non-vinaigrette vegetables (-22.3%), grapefruit and pomelo (-99.6%) ).

 

Earlier news said that in 2021, Russia's agricultural exports to China will decrease by 12.7% to 3.516 billion US dollars. China accounts for 6.8 percent of Russia's total agricultural trade.
