Generally, 9 square meters of seedbed can be applied with 200 kg of sieved and decomposed organic fertilizer, 0.5 kg of calcium superphosphate and 0.5 kg of potassium sulfate.

When the eggplant seedlings grow to 4-5 true leaves, if the lower leaves are lighter in color, 0.1%-0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate or urea can be sprayed on the foliage, which can ensure the cultivation of strong seedlings.

3. Topdressing fruit fertilizer in time

The whole plant enters the period of fruit growth, stems and leaves also begin to grow vigorously, and the amount of fertilizer required increases. At this time, the first top dressing is carried out, which is called fruit fertilizer, which is the key fertilization period.

For eggplant fertilization, apply 30-40 kilograms of ammonium sulfate or 15-20 kilograms of urea per acre, apply in holes or furrows, cover with soil and water after application.
