Including southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, southern Guangdong Province, Hainan Province and southeastern Fujian Province.
Fertilizer application principles
1. According to the soil nutrient status, control the total amount of nitrogen fertilizer, adjust the ratio of base and chase, reduce the amount of nitrogen fertilizer in the early stage, and recommend the backward movement of nitrogen fertilizer.
2. Apply base fertilizer deeply and follow up with "water with nitrogen".
3. Prefer calcium-magnesium phosphate fertiliser or common calcium.
4. Recommend a combination of organic and inorganic fertilisers, increasing organic nutrient input by returning straw to the field and applying organic fertilisers.
5. Acidic soils should be treated with acid-regulating soil conditioners or base lime.
6. Supplement magnesium, zinc and silica fertilisers in magnesium and zinc deficient fields, submerged rice fields and areas with low temperature and low light.
7. In areas with conditions, it is recommended to adopt the technique of simultaneous side-deep fertilisation of machine transplanted rice, and to use special fertilisers for side-deep fertilisation with neat grain shape, suitable hardness and low moisture absorption.
Fertiliser recommendations
1. Yield level below 450 kg/mu, nitrogen fertilizer (N) dosage 7-11 kg/mu, phosphorus fertilizer (P2O5) 2-3 kg/mu, potassium fertilizer (K2O) 3-4 kg/mu; yield level 450-550 kg/mu, nitrogen fertilizer (N) dosage 11-13 kg/mu. N) dosage 11-13 kg/mu, phosphorus fertilizer (P2O5) 3-4 kg/mu, potash (K2O) 4-5 kg/mu; yield level 550 kg/mu or more, nitrogen fertilizer (N) dosage 13-15 kg/mu, phosphorus fertilizer ( P2O5) 4-5 kg/mu, potash (K2O) 5-6 kg/mu.
2. Nitrogen fertilizer base fertilizer accounts for 40%-50%, tiller fertilizer accounts for 20%-30%, spike fertilizer accounts for 20%-30%; phosphorus fertilizer and organic fertilizer all base application; potassium fertilizer all base application, if the yield level of 600 kg/mu or more, base fertilizer accounts for 80%, spike grain fertilizer accounts for 20%.
3. 18-12-16 (N-P2O5-K2O) or similar formula is recommended as base fertilizer.
4. Reduce the amount of potassium fertilizer by 30% for the full amount of straw returned to the field; for fields with organic fertilizer, reduce the amount of base fertilizer appropriately.
5. For fields with soil pH below 5.5, apply 40-50 kg/mu of silica-containing alkaline fertiliser or lime when preparing the land.
6. Apply 1-2 kg/acre of zinc sulphate in zinc-deficient areas.
