By 2030, Vietnam's Exports Of Key Processed Agricultural Products Will Increase To 60%

Vietnam's "Customs Online" reported on July 20 that Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh of the Vietnamese government recently signed Resolution No. 858/QD-TTg approving the development strategy of agricultural mechanization and agricultural, forestry, and fishery processing to 2030.

The specific goals of agricultural mechanization in each production area: by 2025, the production of key crops will reach more than 90%; by 2030, the simultaneous mechanization rate will reach more than 70%; by 2025, the livestock and poultry production will reach more than 80%, and by 2030, the simultaneous mechanization rate will reach 60% above; by 2025, the mechanization rate of aquaculture production will reach more than 70%, and by 2030, it will reach more than 90%; by 2025, fishing and custody will reach 85%, and by 2030, it will reach more than 95%.

In the development of agricultural product processing and preservation, the growth rate of the added value of the agricultural product processing industry by 2025 will reach more than 8%, and by 2030, it will reach more than 10%; more than 70% of the key agricultural product processing and preservation enterprises have advanced technologies and capabilities of average or above; The post-harvest loss rate of major agricultural products decreased by an average of 0.5 to 1 percentage point per year; 60% of exports of major agricultural products were processed products.
