On February 4, the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Business Council Working Conference and the China-South Asia Business Council Working Conference (online) were successfully held in Kunming. The working meeting of the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Business Council was presided over by Bao Wentao, vice chairman of the Yunnan Council for the Promotion of International Trade. At the China-South Asia Business Council Working Conference held in 2019, Bangladesh has been elected as the rotating chairman of the next China-South Asia Business Forum. Affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the 2020 China-South Asia Business Forum was cancelled. At this China-South Asia Business Council working meeting, the member units re-determined Bangladesh as the rotating chair of the 2021 Business Forum. According to working practice, Bangladesh will also serve as the subject country of the 2021 South Asian and Southeast Asian Countries Commodity Exhibition and Investment and Trade Fair. Participants fully discussed the themes, topics and activities of the China-South Asia Business Forum in 2021 and reached consensus.
