1,The effect of calcium ammonium nitrate on large fields


A company conducted a trial analysis of the effect of using calcium ammonium nitrate on large fields. The company chose equal amounts of ammonium nitrate fertiliser and calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser for early rice, maize, cereals and soybeans for comparison. The results of the trial showed that: the early rice treated with calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser gave a yield increase of about 12.4 kg/mu compared to that treated with ammonium nitrate fertiliser; the maize treated with calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser gave a yield increase of about 7.6 kg/mu compared to that treated with ammonium nitrate fertiliser; the grain treated with calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser gave a lower yield than that treated with ammonium nitrate fertiliser, with a yield reduction of about 3.05 kg/mu; the soybean treated with calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser gave a yield increase of about 14.9 kg/mu. It can be seen that calcium ammonium nitrate is as effective as ammonium nitrate, if not more so, and that calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser is suitable for most soils and can be used in saline or acidic soils to provide a nutritional effect and improve the soil. Especially in saline rice fields, the use of calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser is more effective.


2. Effect of calcium ammonium nitrate on sugarcane


The experiment was carried out on an experimental field at the KAM Institute in a province with a clayey soil, pH 6.0, organic matter content 2.05%, medium fertility, flat terrain and easy drainage and irrigation. The fertilisers used in the experiment were (N)=26% calcium ammonium nitrate, (N)=26% ammonium nitrate phosphate and (N)=34.8% ammonium nitrate. The experiment was carried out with three treatments and three replications, with the following results.


Firstly, the growth rate of sugarcane, the results of the experiment showed that the sugarcane treated with ammonium nitrate phosphate and calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser was higher than the sugarcane treated with ammonium nitrate fertiliser, by 8.2 cm and 5.4 cm respectively, indicating that calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser increased the growth rate of sugarcane; then, the cane yield of sugarcane, the results of the experiment showed that the sugarcane treated with ammonium nitrate phosphate and calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser was higher than the sugarcane treated with ammonium nitrate fertiliser in terms of plant height, stem diameter and single diameter weight. The results showed that the cane treated with ammonium nitrate and calcium ammonium nitrate were higher than the cane treated with ammonium nitrate in terms of height, stem diameter and single diameter weight, and the cane treated with calcium ammonium nitrate increased the cane yield by 3905 kg/hm2, indicating that calcium ammonium nitrate fertilizer can effectively promote the growth of cane, increase the rate of stem formation and effective stem number, and increase the cane yield. The results showed that the cane treated with ammonium nitrate and calcium ammonium nitrate were higher than the cane treated with ammonium nitrate, indicating that calcium ammonium nitrate fertiliser could improve the quality of the cane and increase the sugar content and cane sugar content of the cane.
