AgriTalk PM: Here's Why Old Crop Soybean Prices Were Under Pressure Tuesday

Corn prices closed in the green Tuesday, but soybean prices were under pressure again. The July old crop contract closed 13 cents lower, but new crop saw some momentum with the November contract up 2 cents. AgriTalk host Chip Flory digested Tuesday's market action with Joe Vaclavik of Standard Grain. 

Despite corn prices posting in the green, strong beef and pork demand also helped aid lean hog and live cattle prices. Vaclavik and Flory discuss what this means heading into prime protein demand season this year.
